Dinner with the Parents, Amazon Freevee Premiere, April 18

Get ready for chaos and comedy with the upcoming premiere of Dinner with the Parents, a hilarious single-camera series that follows the Langer family’s weekly dinner gatherings. Amazon Freevee has announced April 18 as the official premiere date for this new show and has also released an exciting trailer to give viewers a taste of what’s in store.

The Langers, played by an incredible cast including Michaela Watkins, Dan Bakkedahl, Carol Kane, Henry Hall, Daniel Thrasher, and Jon Glaser, prove that it’s our loved ones who bring out both the best and worst in us. Each Friday evening is filled with pranks, schemes, unexpected neighbors, childhood crushes, questionable decisions – including at least one felony – and even a delicious apple crisp. It’s sure to be an interesting and chaotic dining experience every week.

Starting from April 18th onwards, fans can stream the first four episodes of Dinner with the Parents exclusively on Amazon Freevee in the U.S. Subsequently, two additional episodes will be available each Thursday until May 9 when the season finale airs.

Dinner with the Parents will feature guest appearances from Rob Delaney, Christine Adams, Mircea Monroe and more. The series is based on Channel 4’s award-winning show Friday Night Dinner created by Robert Popper.

Produced by CBS Studios in collaboration with Big Talk Studios, Dinner with the Parents is helmed by showrunner Jon Beckerman who also serves as an executive producer alongside Tristram Shapeero. Kenton Allen and Saurabh Kakkar from Big Talk Studios join Robert Popper from Popper Pictures as executive producers along with Caroline Leddy.
