Discovery’s New Series “In the Eye of the Storm” Premieres July 14

The Discovery Channel is set to debut its six-part limited series “In the Eye of the Storm” on July 14, 2024, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The series will showcase firsthand accounts and eyewitness footage of close encounters with deadly storms, including hurricanes and wildfires.

“In the Eye of the Storm” will present a detailed, second-by-second narrative of life-changing natural disasters, as told through the experiences of hundreds of eyewitnesses. The series promises to offer a unique perspective on these events, capturing them from every imaginable angle.

The trailer for the series teases thrilling and shocking moments, with clips of massive tornadoes, blinding snow, and exploding yachts. The destruction caused by these natural disasters is described as “heartbreaking.”

The series will cover a range of recent disasters, including Hurricane Ida in 2021 and the Maui wildfires in 2023. It will also feature interviews with those who experienced these events firsthand.
