Filmmaker Rob Marshall’s “The Little Mermaid” is a live-action adaptation of Disney’s classic animated musical about a beautiful young mermaid named Ariel who longs for adventure.
Ariel is the youngest and most independent of King Triton’s daughters, and she develops an interest in the surface world and a crush on the handsome Prince Eric during one of her travels there. Despite the fact that mermaids aren’t supposed to talk to humans, Ariel has to do what she thinks is right.
A chance at land life is the price she pays for making a deal with the sea witch Ursula, who threatens both her and her father’s right to the throne.
Directed by Rob Marshall from a screenplay by David Magee, and produced by Marc Platt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, John DeLuca, and Rob Marshall, “The Little Mermaid” also features contributions from the latter three.
Season 2 of FX’s Welcome to Wrexham
Star Original Series Premiere 13 September

Wrexham is a working-class town in North Wales, UK, and Welcome to Wrexham is a docuseries that follows the hopes and fears of the town’s residents as two Hollywood stars steer the future of the town’s historic Club.
Rob and Ryan teamed up to buy the Red Dragons, a club in the lower majors, in 2020 with the intention of making the team an inspirational underdog story. The world took note, and shifts are beginning to occur. Season 2 follows the Club as they try to win the National League and return to the English Football League after suffering a devastating playoff defeat in the first season. Despite the difficulties that sudden fame has brought to their small town, the team’s staff and fans remain committed to reclaiming their former glory.
Welcome to Wrexham travels all the way from Hollywood to Wales to follow the fortunes of a team and a town as they become inextricably intertwined under the leadership of Rob and Ryan.
