“Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” to premiere on Disney+ and Disney Junior on May 4, 2023

Get ready for an out-of-this-world adventure with the premiere of the animated series “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” on Disney+ and Disney Junior on May 4, 2023. The series is set during The High Republic era and follows the story of Jedi younglings who navigate the galaxy while learning the ways of the Force and how to become a Jedi.

Lucasfilm has released the key art featuring the main Jedi younglings, namely Kai Brightstar, Lys Slay, Nubs, Master Yoda, Nash Durango, and RJ-83. Additionally, Disney has provided fans with a sneak peek by releasing three animated shorts, namely Meet the Young Jedi, Lys’ Creature Caper, and Kai’s Daring Droid Rescue. The shorts introduce us to the Jedi younglings and their friends on the planet Tenoo.

The shorts each focus on a different Jedi youngling and their adventures, including battling a training droid at Jedi Temple, following clues to retrieve a playful creature at the Temple, and rescuing a friend’s droid in danger. The additional three shorts will be available on YouTube in the coming weeks.

All six shorts will be available for streaming on Disney+ beginning April 26, one week before the official premiere of the series on May 4, 2023.
