Disney+ has announced the premiere date for its new UK Original psychological drama, The Stolen Girl. The five-part series, adapted from Alex Dahl’s best-selling novel, will launch on April 16, 2025, worldwide on Disney+ and on Hulu the next day in the US, after airing on Freeform.

Here’s the Lowdown: The Stolen Girl follows Elisa (Denise Gough), a mother whose life is thrown into chaos when her 9-year-old daughter, Lucia, goes missing after a sleepover. Elisa, having met the seemingly trustworthy mother of Lucia’s friend, Rebecca (Holliday Grainger), allows the sleepover, only to discover the next day that the house was a rental and Lucia, Rebecca, and Rebecca’s daughter Josie are gone. The series also features Ambika Mod, Jim Sturgess, Bronagh Waugh, and Michael Workéyè.
