A first look at Ryan Murphy’s latest creation, the ABC medical drama Doctor Odyssey, has been revealed, starring Joshua Jackson as Max, a doctor on a luxury cruise ship.
The teaser trailer presents a glimpse into the unique world of the show, where Max and his dedicated medical team face unexpected crises at sea. The series will examine the lives and challenges of the crew, who work and play far from the nearest shore.
Joining Jackson in this new series are Phillipa Soo, Sean Teale, and veteran actor Don Johnson.
Doctor Odyssey is written and executive-produced by Murphy, Jon Robin Baitz, and Joe Baken, with Jackson and Johnson also serving as executive producers. Paris Barclay directs and executive produces.
The series also includes executive producers Eric Paquette, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, and Nissa Diederich. It is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television. The series will premiere September 26 on ABC.
