Doctor Who: Bonnie Langford Returns as Mel Bush.
Bonnie Langford returns to the world of Doctor Who as Melanie Bush, starring alongside Ncuti Gatwa, who takes on the role of the Fifteenth Doctor in the new series.
Bonnie previously returned for a cameo in Jodie Whittaker’s final episode as the Thirteenth Doctor, Bonnie first appeared in the Doctor Who universe in 1986 as the companion to Colin Baker’s Sixth and Sylvester McCoy’s Seventh Doctors.
Bonnie had a stellar career after making her West End debut in Gone with the Wind at Theatre Royal Drury Lane when she was only seven years old. From her countless Broadway and West End performances in shows like Chicago, 9 to 5, and Cats to her Emmy-winning portrayal of Carmel Kazemi on EastEnders, she has a long list of credits to her name.

David Tennant will reprise his role as the Fourteenth Doctor in three celebratory episodes airing in November 2023 in honour of the show’s 60th anniversary. The premiere of Ncuti Gatwa’s debut as the 15th Doctor will air during the festive period.
