Doctor Who: “Jinkx Monsoon” Joins Cast

Jinkx Monsoon, an actress, singer, and two-time winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, will play a significant part in the upcoming season of Doctor Who.

Following her success on RuPaul’s Drag Race, where she won two seasons and was crowned “Queen of Queens” in an All Stars season against other Drag Race winners, Jinkx gained a global following.

After a sold-out run in Broadway’s longest-running production, Chicago, Jinkx is joining Doctor Who. The first drag queen to portray Mama Morton, her 8-week Broadway run broke records at the box office and made history for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Russell T Davies, Showrunner said: “In a galaxy of comets and supernovas, here comes the biggest star of all. Jinkx Monsoon is on a collision course with the TARDIS, and Doctor Who will never be the same again!”
