“Doctor Who: Unleashed” to Premiere on BBC Three in November, Offering Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Content

“Doctor Who: Unleashed” is an upcoming show that will give fans of the iconic sci-fi series a unique behind-the-scenes experience. Premiering on BBC Three and iPlayer this November, the series will be hosted by Steffan Powell, a BBC Gaming Correspondent and former Radio 1 Newsbeat Presenter.

The show aims to explore the making of Doctor Who, featuring interviews with both the actors and the talented individuals working behind the scenes. It follows in the footsteps of the beloved “Doctor Who Confidential” series, which showcased the behind-the-scenes aspects of the show and inspired many to pursue careers in the television industry.

Fiona Campbell, the Controller of Youth Audience for BBC iPlayer and BBC Three, says “Doctor Who is a show that needs no introduction, so it goes without saying that BBC Three and iPlayer are thrilled to introduce this incredible new series that invites viewers into the world of Doctor Who, showing them just what really goes on.”

The 30-minute factual entertainment series was commissioned by Kalpna Patel-Knight and Fiona Campbell, with Jo Pearce as the Executive Producer and Ian Durham as the Series Producer. Steffan Powell, a presenter and journalist from Wales, brings his expertise to the show, having worked at BBC News and BBC Radio. He is known for his work as a gaming and culture correspondent and has also presented factual entertainment programs on Welsh language TV station S4C.
