Docuseries “Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets” Premieres June 2 on Prime Video

From the Emmy-winning creators of the smash hit LuLaRich comes the highly anticipated docuseries Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, the official trailer for which was released today by Prime Video. The series’ first four episodes will debut on Prime Video on June 2 in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.

What is the limited series about

The Duggars are the most popular family on reality TV, but their organization, the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP), is deeply controversial. Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets is a limited docuseries that uncovers the truth behind the wholesome Americana facade.

Several former IBLP members have come forward to discuss the abusive practices that kept them trapped in the program. Jill Duggar Dillard, along with other family members and close friends who were there, will speak out publicly for the first time about their experiences with the Duggars. As information about the family and their scandals becomes public, it becomes clear that they are only a small part of a much larger, more systemic threat that is already putting our democracy in jeopardy.
