Canine chaos reigns supreme in this week’s Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly. Dog trainer Graeme Hall finds himself facing two particularly taxing cases: a jealous Frenchie and a noise-sensitive Cockerpoo. First up is Bingo, a French Bulldog whose attachment to his owner, Alan, borders on the possessive. Alan’s attempts at a love life are consistently thwarted by Bingo, who transforms into a furry whirlwind of hostility at the mere whiff of a potential partner. Date nights devolve into barking frenzies, leaving Alan alone and Bingo in control.
Meanwhile, Amy, a mother of three, is at her wit’s end with Molly, her Cockerpoo. Molly’s aversion to even the slightest noise has turned Amy’s home into a constant battle against decibels. A dropped toy, a cough, the hum of the refrigerator – any of these can trigger Molly’s ear-splitting wails. Sleep-deprived and frayed, Amy desperately needs Hall’s expertise to restore some semblance of peace to her household.
Graeme Hall, as always, approaches these canine calamities with his trademark blend of firmness and understanding. He’ll attempt to get to the root of Bingo’s jealousy, perhaps uncovering insecurities that mirror Alan’s own dating anxieties. With Molly, Hall might explore desensitization techniques, gradually acclimating her to the everyday sounds that currently send her into a frenzy. Whether Hall can successfully mediate these domestic disputes remains to be seen, but the journey will undoubtedly be filled with the usual mix of heartwarming moments and exasperated sighs. Will Alan find love despite Bingo’s best efforts? Will Amy ever get a full night’s sleep? Tune in to find out.
