Don’t Let Him Find You Lifetime Movie Network Premiere, Friday, November 29

Don't Let Him Find You Key Art

Lifetime has never been shy about producing thrillers centered around women in peril, and “Don’t Let Him Find You” appears to be no exception. This time, the network takes the familiar “woman with a secret” trope and cranks it up a notch, throwing in a viral video, a nosy reporter, and a murder for good measure.

The premise: Alex (Brianna Cohen), your average suburban housewife, becomes an overnight sensation after a video of her rescuing a woman goes viral. But fame, as they say, is a fickle friend. Enter a persistent crime reporter convinced he knows Alex’s true identity—an identity she’s desperately trying to keep buried.

The reporter’s apparent knowledge of Alex’s past raises immediate questions. Just how deep are her secrets? Is she a former spy? A con artist? Did she fake the moon landing? The possibilities, at least in the Lifetime universe, are endless. And then, naturally, the reporter turns up dead. Surprise, surprise, Alex is the prime suspect. Now, not only is her past threatening to catch up with her, but she’s also playing a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse with the police while trying to uncover the real killer. It’s all very cloak-and-dagger, but with more sensible footwear and probably a minivan chase scene.

The supporting cast includes Audrey Lynn-Marie and Philip Boyd and “Don’t Let Him Find You” looks likely to deliver exactly what you’d expect from the network: a fast-paced, twisty thriller with a healthy dose of melodrama. Will Alex clear her name and protect her family from the truth? Or will her past finally catch up to her? Tune in to find out if the suspense is worth your Friday night.

“Don’t Let Him Find You” premieres Friday, November 29 at 8/7c on Lifetime Movie Network.
