Lifetime, purveyor of guilty pleasures and melodramatic mysteries, delivers a fresh dose of intrigue with “Dressed to Kill.” This time, the runway of high fashion becomes a crime scene, and the stiletto heel could very well be the murder weapon. Brianna Cohen stars as Amy, a fashion assistant whose life takes a sharp turn when her boss, the formidable Vanessa Silver (Suzanne R. Neff), meets an untimely end. Suddenly, Amy’s career trajectory isn’t the only thing escalating; her status as prime suspect also rises faster than a hemline in a fashion show.
The plot thickens, or perhaps unravels, with the revelation that Amy is Vanessa’s primary beneficiary, inheriting a cool 90% of the company. Talk about a killer incentive. Naturally, suspicion falls squarely on Amy, leaving her boyfriend, Kevin (Mo Seghal), with a growing sense of unease. Is Amy truly innocent, or is she playing a deadly game of deception?
As if being the prime suspect wasn’t enough, another twist emerges when Vanessa’s daughter, Blair (Annie Sullivan), becomes the target of an attack. This new development places Amy firmly back in the crosshairs, forcing her to question everyone around her. With trust shattered and paranoia creeping in, Amy must untangle the threads of this deadly fashion game before she becomes the next victim. The real question isn’t whodunit, but can Amy prove she didn’t?
