Duck Dynasty: The Revival Headed to A&E Summer 2025

The Robertsons are flapping back onto our screens. A&E has dusted off the camouflage and duck calls, ordering a two-season revival of its reality TV behemoth, Duck Dynasty. Dubbed Duck Dynasty: The Revival, the new series is set to premiere in Summer 2025, offering a glimpse into the evolving lives of the Robertson clan, albeit with some notable absences.

This time around, the focus shifts to Korie and Willie Robertson, presiding over a Louisiana homestead now bustling with grown children, spouses, and a gaggle of grandkids. The original show, a ratings juggernaut for A&E during its 11-season run (2012-2017), leaned heavily on the often-outrageous pronouncements of family patriarch, Phil Robertson. With Phil’s health now a concern, the revival will center on the younger generation as they wrestle with the familiar trials of marriage, parenthood, and the ever-present pressure of upholding the family’s brand.

While the revival aims to capture the same blend of family, faith, and (presumably) fowl that made the original a hit, the absence of Phil’s often-controversial pronouncements could signal a shift in tone. Whether the younger Robertsons can generate the same level of audience engagement without their outspoken elder remains to be seen. The network’s commitment to a two-season, 20-episode order does, however, suggest a certain level of confidence in the family’s continued appeal.

Joining Korie and Willie are returning favorites like Miss Kay and Uncle Si, providing a thread of continuity for longtime viewers. The new series also introduces a fresh batch of Robertsons, including John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella, Rebecca, and their respective families. While the original Duck Dynasty spawned several spinoffs, including Jep & Jessica: Growing the Dynasty, this marks the first full-fledged continuation of the core family narrative. For A&E, it’s a bet that the Robertson brand, even without its most recognizable figurehead, still holds enough allure to draw audiences back to the bayou.

Duck Dynasty: The Revival is expected to air on A&E in Summer 2025.
