Albert Square is about to get a lot more interesting as a familiar face returns to Walford. Bianca Jackson (played by Patsy Palmer), last seen in June, is back, and this time, she’s got some unresolved family business to attend to.
In her previous appearance, Bianca dramatically exposed her sister, Sonia Jackson (Natalie Cassidy), and Sonia’s boyfriend, Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman), for their theft. Since then, Sonia and Bianca have been estranged, and with good reason. Bianca had warned Sonia about Reiss, who recently killed Debbie in a desperate attempt to cover his debts. It seems Bianca’s instincts were right, and now she’s back to set things straight.
Adding to the drama is the return of Bianca’s father, David Wicks (Michael French). The last time they met was a decade ago, and their relationship has always been complicated. With David on his way to Walford, it seems the upcoming months will be filled with heated moments and the resolution of long-standing family tensions.
