‘Electric Bloom’ Drops First Teaser, Sets Disney Channel and Disney+ Rollout for Musical Comedy Series

Electric Bloom Key Art

Disney Branded Television is turning up the volume on its summer slate, presenting the first teaser and key art for Electric Bloom, a new music-driven comedy that tracks a fictional girl group’s rise to fame. The series kicks off with a double-episode premiere on Disney Channel Thursday, July 10 at 8:35 p.m. EDT/PDT, slotted directly behind ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires. Streaming release follows on Disney+ starting Wednesday, September 17, when the first 13 episodes drop, with the remaining batch arriving in October.

Created by Eric Friedman, Alex Fox, and Rachel Lewis—all serving as executive producers alongside Diane Warren and Bahareh Batmang—the series leans into pop nostalgia and high school memories as the titular band looks back on its early days. Jody Hahn directed and executive-produced the pilot.

Lumi Pollack, Carmen Sanchez, and Ruby Marino star as Posey, Jade, and Tulip—the three core members of Electric Bloom—with Nathaniel Buescher playing their loyal friend Lucas. The real-world musical cred comes from Warren, who penned all the songs in the pilot, the theme song, and much of the season’s soundtrack.

With a high-gloss visual style and plenty of original music, Electric Bloom aims to hit both the tween demo and older fans of Disney’s legacy in the music-and-friendship lane—from Hannah Montana to Austin & Ally.
