CBS has announced the premiere date for the highly anticipated second season of Elsbeth, the spin-off of The Good Wife. The series, starring Carrie Preston as Elsbeth Tascioni, will return on October 17th at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Alongside the premiere date, the network has released a trailer and details about the upcoming season, which will feature a lineup of notable guest stars.
Pamela Adlon, Vanessa Williams, Rob Riggle, and Brittany O’Grady are set to make appearances in the new season.
In addition to the guest stars, Aisha Tyler is set to direct an episode of the series. The season two premiere, titled “Subscription to Murder,” will feature an appearance by Nathan Lane. The episode will see Elsbeth investigating the murder of a finance executive, with Lane playing an obsessed opera lover suspected of the crime.
The premiere will also explore the consequences of Noonan’s wrongdoing, as Elsbeth, Captain Wagner, and Kaya adjust to changes in the precinct. The episode will air on October 17th at 10 p.m. ET/PT on the CBS Television Network and will be available for streaming on Paramount+.
