“Elsbeth,” CBS’s quirky legal drama, welcomes a special guest star this Thursday, as Tracey Ullman joins the cast for a psychic showdown. In “I See… Murder,” Elsbeth Tascioni, known for her unconventional approach to crime-solving, finds herself facing off against Marilyn Gladwell (Ullman), a professional psychic.
The case involves a wealthy client whose stepson turns up dead in Central Park, a setting that seems tailor-made for some theatrical investigative work. As Elsbeth applies her unique brand of logic, Marilyn counters with her supposed intuitive powers, creating a clash of styles that could either solve the case or lead to a comical disaster.
With Officer Kaya Blanke aspiring to become a detective, this case may give her the real-world experience she craves. It’s a battle of wits and intuition, set against the backdrop of a bizarre murder. Will Elsbeth’s sharp mind prevail, or will Marilyn’s “visions” lead to the truth?
“Elsbeth: I See… Murder,” written by Sarah Beckett and Wade Dooley and directed by Rob Hardy, airs Thursday, March 13th at 10:00 PM ET/PT on CBS, and will be available to stream on Paramount+.
