Elsbeth Tascioni, the eccentric legal mind from Chicago now tackling the equally peculiar world of New York City law enforcement, finds herself entangled in a transatlantic murder case with a romantic twist. In “Tiny Town,” Elsbeth crosses paths with Angus (Ioan Gruffudd), a Scottish musician who becomes a key witness to a murder viewed through a video art installation linking Manhattan and Angus’s small seaside town.
The unusual setup forces Elsbeth and Angus to collaborate across continents, relying on her unconventional investigative methods and his eyewitness account. “Tiny Town,” penned by Zoe Marshall and directed by Robert King, presents a fresh challenge for Elsbeth, requiring her to solve a crime from afar.
