This week on “Elsbeth,” the perpetually offbeat lawyer finds herself in the soothing, yet potentially sinister, world of holistic wellness. A young man turns up dead in his car shortly after a visit to a new-agey wellness center, and Elsbeth suspects there’s more to the story than meets the eye.
Naturally, an undercover operation is in order. Elsbeth infiltrates the center, where she encounters the charismatic founder, played by Eric McCormack. We’re guessing McCormack’s character is the kind of guy who exudes an aura of tranquility while simultaneously hiding a dark secret or two. Or maybe he just really likes herbal tea. We’ll see. “Unalive and Well” was written by Leah Nanako Winkler and directed by Nancy Hower.
“Elsbeth” airs Thursdays at 10:00 PM Eastern Time on CBS and is available to stream on Paramount+.
