Robyn McCall is back in action this Sunday, and this time, the stakes are higher than ever. In “Trust No One,” the 12th episode of “The Equalizer’s” fifth season, McCall and her team find themselves on a treasure hunt, but the gold they’re after is buried under layers of secrets and betrayal.
The episode kicks off with the murder of a history professor, leaving behind a trail of cryptic clues pointing to a cache of missing gold. McCall dives headfirst into the treacherous world of treasure hunting, a world where trust is a luxury she can’t afford. As she tackles this dangerous landscape, she must contend with hidden agendas and double-crosses, all while trying to keep her team safe.
Meanwhile, on the home front, things are far from tranquil. McCall’s attempt to invite Dante’s sons over for dinner is met with resistance, throwing a wrench into their already complicated relationship.
