Eva Longoria: Searching for Spain: Galicia (CNN, Sunday, June 1, 2025)

Eva Longoria Searching for Spain Key Art

Eva Longoria’s culinary tour of Spain continues this Sunday on CNN, and this time, she’s headed to the edge of the world—or at least, that’s how the Galicians used to see it. Airing at 9 PM ET, Searching for Spain: Galicia (Season 1, Episode 5) finds Longoria exploring the rugged landscapes and unique food traditions of this northwestern Spanish region.

Galicia, known for its dramatic coastline and verdant interior, turns out to be a treasure trove of exceptional ingredients. Longoria samples the region’s famously fresh seafood—from percebes (goose barnacles) clinging to wave-battered rocks to pulpo á feira (boiled octopus)—and gets a taste of Galician blonde beef, prized for its flavor and marbling.

The series, which follows Longoria’s broader travels across Spain, has already made stops in San Sebastián for pintxos, Barcelona for Catalan prawns, and Madrid for classic Spanish tortilla. She’s also visited her ancestral homeland in Asturias, connecting with family who still live there. But this week’s episode takes a turn for the wilder, swapping bustling cityscapes for windswept hills and ancient Celtic traditions.
