Eva Longoria trades Hollywood glamour for Iberian charm in her new CNN series, “Searching for Spain.” Part travelogue, part culinary adventure, the show follows Longoria as she explores the diverse cultures and climates of Spain, savoring the country’s rich history and, of course, the food.
The premiere episode takes us to Barcelona and the surrounding Catalonia region, a Mediterranean hub known for its vibrant culinary scene. Longoria meets with innovative chefs who push the boundaries of traditional Spanish cuisine, taking viewers on a gastronomical journey. She’s seeking out the birthplace of tapas and there will be time to sample some of the world’s priciest jamon in Andalusia. In Galicia, there will be time to savor a bounty of seafood and some amazing Galician beef.
