Adventurer Steve Backshall returns to BBC Two this Sunday with another pulse-pounding episode of “Expedition.” This time, the destination is Greenland’s formidable Stauning Alps, where Backshall and his team face a trifecta of extreme challenges.
Episode 9 focuses on the team’s attempt to summit a remote, rarely climbed peak in the Stauning Alps. But before they even reach the base of the mountain, they’ll have to tackle a vast glacial river, testing their whitewater skills to the limit. And once the climbing is complete, the adventure continues with a high-stakes ski journey across a treacherous glacier.
