This Sunday, Steve Backshall concludes his “Expedition” series with a journey into the truly unknown. He leads a team of expert explorers to Mexico, their destination a sprawling cave network, the largest unexplored system of its kind on Earth. This epic adventure takes them further into these subterranean depths than any human has ventured before.
Backshall’s explorations have consistently taken viewers to the world’s most remote and untouched environments, a trend which, thankfully, shows no sign of stopping with this series finale. Backshall discovers relics, ruins, and natural wonders along the way.
