The “Expedition X” team, known for their explorations of the strange and unusual, returns this Wednesday with a chilling descent into the Mayan underworld. In this second part of their investigation, Phil and Heather venture deep into a vast subterranean cave system, a place believed by the ancient Mayans to be the realm of menacing spirits.
Having already experienced some unsettling phenomena in the first part of their exploration, the team is prepared for the unknown as they go deeper into the caves. Armed with their usual high-tech gear and a healthy dose of skepticism, Phil and Heather are determined to find out if there’s any truth to the legends surrounding this ancient site. With Jessica Chobot no longer part of the team, Heather Amaro takes on an even more central role alongside Phil, bringing her expertise in archaeology and anthropology to the investigation.
