Fake or Fortune?: Music Memorabilia (BBC One, Thursday 10 October 2024)

Fake or Fortune?

In this episode of Fake or Fortune?, Fiona Bruce and Philip Mould examine the world of rock music memorabilia, taking on two intriguing cases. They investigate a baby grand piano owned by pop star Chesney Hawkes and a Hawaiian steel guitar believed to be linked to Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.

Chesney Hawkes’ piano, which he acquired from his father, is said to have originated from John Lennon’s Berkshire home, Tittenhurst Park. Meanwhile, sisters Niki and Kerry claim their Hawaiian steel guitar, decorated with a moon and stars motif, was gifted to their father by Ronnie Wood. But are these stories true?
