Things are about to get fiery at Sword & Cross. The supernatural drama “Fallen,” streaming on Sundance Now, reaches a fever pitch this Thursday in its season one finale episode, “Secrets and Shadows.” The episode picks up after Penn’s death, leaving Luce consumed by grief and convinced that foul play was involved. As she digs for answers, she finds herself drawing closer to Daniel, leading to a much-needed reconciliation amidst the turmoil. Their reunion, however, is short-lived.
Miss Sophia, the ever-enigmatic figure at the heart of Sword & Cross, seems to have her own agenda, trapping Luce in the library and setting it ablaze. With Luce’s life hanging in the balance, the residents of Sword & Cross band together in a desperate search, a race against time that culminates in an epic showdown against the Outcasts at a sacred altar in the woods.
Expect answers, or at least pieces of them, to emerge from the flames. Is Sword & Cross what it claims to be or something far more sinister? Can Luce and Daniel survive the inferno of secrets and shadows closing in around them? Find out Thursday, March 27 on Sundance Now.
