Falling Together, a Hallmark Channel original movie, premieres on World Alzheimer’s Day, Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. The film, part of the network’s annual Fall into Love programming event, stars Ashley Williams (Notes of Autumn, Five More Minutes: Moments Like These) and Paul Campbell (Magic in Mistletoe, Three Wise Men and a Baby).
Williams, who also executive produces the film, has a personal connection to the story, having written about her mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s for publications like People and Medium. She and her family have a long-standing relationship with the Alzheimer’s Association, and they actively support the cause through various initiatives. The Alzheimer’s Association provided valuable input for the film, ensuring accuracy in the portrayal of the disease and advocating for participation in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Falling Together follows Natalie (Williams), a recent work-related transplant to Pittsburgh, who is eager to integrate into her new community. She volunteers for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and tries to bring her building residents together, but her efforts fall flat, especially with Mark (Campbell), the unfriendly superintendent.
Despite their differences, Natalie and Mark grow closer as they spend time together, and a spark develops. However, their progress towards building harmony suddenly encounters obstacles, leaving Natalie disheartened. She redirects her energy towards the Walk, which may offer a path to healing and a happy ending.
Falling Together is produced by Hallmark Media, with executive producers Neal Dodson and Ashley Williams. The film is produced by Rob Lycar, Gemma Martini, Jamie Goehring, and Shawn Williamson, and supervised by Jonathan Shore. Mike Rohl directs, with a teleplay by Rick Garman based on Adam Kulbersh’s script.
Falling Together premieres on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel.
