Leave it to “Family Guy” to take the concept of unconventional romance to a whole new level. This Sunday, Meg Griffin, the perpetually overlooked middle child, finds love in the most unexpected of places: a reality dating competition. Her chosen paramour? A chicken. Naturally.
Peter, predictably, is not on board. His disapproval prompts Meg to take a dramatic step, moving out of the Griffin household and into the chicken’s coop (?). Yes, you read that correctly. Missing his daughter (?), Peter sets off on a “rescue mission,” determined to extract Meg from her feathered beau’s clutches.
Expect the usual dose of outlandish humor, pop culture references, and cutaway gags as “Family Guy” continues its reign as the king of animated absurdity. With the standard voice cast – Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis, and Patrick Warburton – returning, alongside Arif Zahir as Cleveland, the episode aims for maximum comedic effect.
“The Chicken or the Meg” airs Sunday, March 16 from 8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT on FOX.
