In the second episode of the brand new season of Farmer Wants a Wife, the four farmers, Joe and Tom, meet a group of single women who have left their city lives behind in search of love and a potential future spouse. The farmers will take their chosen ladies on individual dates and to their farms, providing a glimpse into the realities of rural life.
The episode, airing on Channel 7 on Monday, April 15, at 7:30 pm, will see the farmers and their prospective partners embark on romantic solo dates and a 24-hour date, as they explore potential connections and navigate the challenges of finding love.
Farmer Joe is a 33-year-old cattle and sheep farmer from Bombala in New South Wales. He describes himself as “tall, dark, and handsome”, funny, and family-oriented. Joe has travelled extensively, including living and playing rugby in the US and England. He is a passionate rugby player, loves horse riding, fishing, and travelling, and is a big fan of the outdoors.
Joe is looking for a partner who is strong, independent, and content with who she is. He wants someone who shares his passion for travel and the outdoors, and who will fit into his life without either of them having to change. He is extremely close to his family and is particularly close to his mother, who he supported through her breast cancer battle. Joe is willing to cancel personal plans to spend time with his loved ones and hopes to find a partner who shares this quality.
Farmer Tom is a 22-year-old cattle and crop farmer from Tabilk in Victoria. He is a go-getter, having left school early to start his own business, and has travelled through Europe. Tom is dedicated, motivated, and has a dry sense of humour. He loves country music, horse shows, and cooking homemade meals from scratch.
Tom is looking for a partner who is positive, has strong family values, and is loyal and supportive. He wants someone who understands the demands of farm life and will stick by his side. Tom is serious about finding “the one” and is willing to put in the hard work to make a relationship succeed.
In this season, the farmers will open their farms and their hearts to potential partners, offering a chance for love to blossom in the picturesque countryside.
