It’s finale time down on the farm. FOX’s “Farmer Wants a Wife” wraps up its third season this Thursday with a two-hour special, “Meet the Families Part 2,” and let’s just say, not every boot-scootin’ boogie leads to a happily ever after.
Last week’s family introductions stirred up a whole mess of emotions – doubts, reassurances, the occasional awkward silence – and this week’s conclusion looks to be even more intense. As the visits wrap up, some serious soul-searching goes down. After all, choosing one person to potentially spend the rest of your life with is a big deal, even when you’re not being filmed for national television.
Farmers Matt Warren, Jay Woods, John Sansone, and Colton Hendricks have wined, dined, and square-danced their way through a field of potential partners. Now, it’s decision time. Each farmer must choose the woman they believe is their perfect match. But will those feelings be mutual? That’s the million-dollar question – or at least, the question that determines whether these farmers find love or end up back on the dating tractor.
With host Kimberly Williams-Paisley offering guidance (and likely a sympathetic ear), “Meet the Families Part 2” is shaping up to be a rollercoaster of emotions.
