Grab your Akubra and settle in for another season of rural romance as “Farmer Wants a Wife” returns to Seven Network this Monday. Season 15 kicks off with a fresh crop of lonely hearts looking for love in the paddocks, but this time around, it seems the drama isn’t confined to the farm.
The premise remains the same: a group of farmers meet eight potential partners for a round of speed dates, hoping to find a spark amidst the awkward small talk and nervous laughter. Each farmer then selects five ladies to join them back on their property, where the real getting-to-know-you begins. Expect the usual mix of tears, joy, and jealousy as relationships blossom (or wither) under the harsh Australian sun.
But whispers of behind-the-scenes turmoil have been circulating. Early promos featured five farmers, but now, only four remain. One farmer, along with their entire group of ladies, has been mysteriously edited out of the season, with reshoots reportedly taking place to smooth over the absence. What happened? Seven Network is keeping mum for now, but the mystery itself adds plenty of extra intrigue to the usual romantic entanglements.
Find out what love (and drama) blossoms on “Farmer Wants a Wife,” premiering Monday, April 21st at 7:30 PM AEST on Seven Network.
