The FBI team tackles high-stakes investigations, delving into terrorism, organized crime, and counterintelligence in the latest episode titled “Best Laid Plans.” Airing on CBS on Tuesday, April 16, the episode sees the agents deploy their skills to protect New York City and the nation from imminent threats.
Shantel VanSanten, who plays Special Agent Nina Chase in FBI, will appear in “Best Laid Plans.” In the episode, her character goes undercover with her boyfriend, Stuart Scola (John Boyd), as a married couple to solve the murder of a retired agent. The couple, who have a baby together, juggle parenting with their high-risk jobs, with Nina now reassigned to the Fugitive Task Force.
VanSanten first joined the show in Season 4, temporarily filling in for Maggie (Missy Peregrym) while she was on maternity leave. She continued to recur throughout Season 5 and has since moved to the spinoff series, FBI: Most Wanted, for its fifth season.
The episode, written by Rick Eid and Joe Halpin, showcases the team’s relentless determination and intricate investigative procedures.
