FBI: Most Wanted Season 6 Episode 5 Recap: “Money Moves”

FBI Most Wanted

This week’s FBI: Most Wanted served up a double dose of tension, blending a meticulously planned heist with Ray Cannon’s ongoing family struggles. “Money Moves” followed the Fugitive Task Force as they pursued a crew of thieves who targeted a cash storage facility, while Ray wrestled with his stepson Caleb’s yearning to connect with his biological father.

The robbers, brothers Nate and Mike, executed their initial heist with precision, using decoy money and a network of accomplices to evade capture. Their uncle, Ronald Perry, reluctantly provided the FBI with crucial information, revealing the brothers’ history and hinting at their next target: another Agee Cash Logistics facility in Charlotte.

The Charlotte job quickly devolved into a hostage situation, with Mike’s volatile nature escalating the danger. Nate, however, revealed a softer side, prioritizing the safety of his secret girlfriend, Jody, who worked at the facility and was unwittingly entangled in his plan. In a tense standoff, Nate chose Jody over his brother, ultimately forcing Mike to surrender.

Meanwhile, Ray’s family drama unfolded on a separate, but no less compelling, track. His stepson, Caleb, pursued a relationship with his biological father, Lou, a decision that understandably frayed Ray’s nerves. The episode juxtaposed the high-stakes heist with the quieter, but equally fraught, tensions of Ray’s home life. While the team successfully apprehended the robbers, Ray’s personal challenges remain unresolved.

FBI: Most Wanted airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on CBS.
