Matt Paxton, the extreme-cleaning guru of “Filthy Fortunes,” faces his biggest challenge yet in this Sunday’s episode. “The Maine State of Cash” takes him to a massive property overflowing with… well, everything. It’s a hoarder’s paradise, a treasure hunter’s dream, and a logistical nightmare all rolled into one.
Matt’s on the hunt for specific big-ticket items hidden within the mountains of junk: rare military plane parts, vintage records, and a rumored stash of jewelry. The potential rewards are high, but so are the risks. Before he can even start the treasure hunt, Matt needs to assess the property and figure out how much the clean-out will cost. He then has to estimate the value of the hidden items to make sure he can at least make a profit for his gamble. It’s a high-stakes game of speculation.
With heavy equipment at the ready, Matt will unearth items of value. If he succeeds, it’s a win-win – the client gets a clean slate, and Matt walks away with a tidy profit.
