Apple TV+ has locked in the premiere date for the third and final season of sci-fi thriller Invasion, setting the global launch for Friday, August 22, 2025. New episodes will roll out weekly through to October 24.
Season three brings a structural shift. After two years of fragmented resistance, characters from around the world now converge on a coordinated mission. Their objective is to infiltrate the alien mothership and mount a decisive counterattack. The scale of the threat has also changed. Humanity now faces apex invaders, a new form of alien that pushes the war into even more brutal territory.
Returning cast members include Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Shane Zaza and Enver Gjokaj. Erika Alexander joins the ensemble as a new series regular, adding fresh energy as the series builds toward its final confrontation.
Invasion comes from Simon Kinberg, known for his work on the X-Men and Deadpool franchises, and David Weil of Hunters. The producing team includes Audrey Chon, David Witz, Alik Sakharov, Dan Dietz, Katie O’Connell Marsh and Nick Nantell.
The series has been one of Apple’s most visually ambitious dramas, with its slow-burn structure giving way to high-impact action and global stakes. Season three is expected to deepen key character dynamics while pushing toward a full-scale final battle.
