FYI’s Find My Country House offers a double-header of rural real estate escapism this Tuesday, serving up two distinct flavors of country living. First up at 9 p.m. is “Majestic Mountain Living,” featuring Maggie and Bill, a couple seeking tranquility and breathtaking vistas in the mountains. Host Trish Suhr attempts to steer them toward properties that fit their vision, which, knowing this genre, probably involves exposed beams and a hot tub overlooking a vista.
At 9:30 p.m., the hunt shifts south in “Homey Southern Havens.” Roberta and Brian, guided again by Suhr, are on the hunt for a property brimming with Southern charm — which, in TV terms, might translate to wraparound porches, rocking chairs, and sweet tea.
Whether these couples find their dream homes or succumb to the pressures of TV house-hunting remains to be seen. One thing’s for certain: there will be ample shots of idyllic landscapes and probably some mild bickering about budgets.
