“Fire Country” returns this Friday with an episode that turns a routine call into a high-stakes emergency. In “Death Trap,” Station 42 responds to what seems like a standard wellness check, only to find themselves facing a rapidly escalating house fire. As the flames spread, the team must use all their skill and training to contain the blaze and ensure the safety of those inside.

But the danger doesn’t end with the fire. “Death Trap” also turns its attention to the personal lives of the crew, specifically Vince and Sharon, who find themselves grappling with the increasing cognitive decline of Vince’s father. It’s a storyline that adds an emotional weight to the episode, showing that firefighters deal with more than just the immediate crises they face on the job.
