This Friday on CBS’s “Fire Country,” a routine call turns into a fight for survival for one of Station 42’s own. In “Eyes and Ears Everywhere,” what starts as a standard house fire quickly escalates into a perilous situation, trapping a member of the crew and testing the team’s bonds like never before.
The episode, penned by Nick Spates and directed by actor Freddie Highmore, seems to be hitting close to home for the tight-knit group of firefighters. We can expect the usual high-octane firefighting sequences, but this time, the personal stakes are even higher. It’s one thing to risk your life for strangers; it’s quite another when it’s one of your own in the line of fire.
“Fire Country” excels at balancing action with character-driven drama, exploring the sacrifices and daily risks these first responders face.
“Fire Country” airs this Friday, April 18 at 9:00 PM ET/PT on CBS and streams on Paramount+.
