Fire Country: Fare Thee Well (CBS, Friday, February 14, 2025)

Is there anything less romantic than a raging inferno at a Renaissance Faire? Apparently not, as “Fire Country” sets the stage for a Valentine’s Day episode that trades Cupid’s arrows for flaming swords and rogue fire breathers. Forget candlelit dinners – this Friday, Bode and the crew are facing a full-blown medieval market meltdown.

Picture this: turkey legs charring, jousting tournaments abruptly ending, and lute music replaced by the shrill cries of fleeing fairgoers. The cause? A fire breather, presumably more enthusiastic than skilled, manages to ignite more than just his own fiery breath. The resulting blaze quickly engulfs a tent, threatening to turn the festive atmosphere into a scene from “Game of Thrones” – minus the dragons, hopefully.

While the episode’s title, “Fare Thee Well,” hints at a possible farewell (perhaps to a beloved character or a storyline?), it seems more likely a cheeky nod to the Renaissance Faire setting. Will someone bid adieu to their prized lute? Or perhaps a hapless knight will lose his helmet in the chaos?

Beyond the immediate crisis, expect the usual dose of interpersonal drama. Will Bode’s past continue to haunt him? Will Manny find time to dispense wisdom amidst the fiery mayhem? And will Sharon’s medical expertise be needed for more than just singed eyebrows?

Tune in to CBS this Friday, February 14, at 9:00 PM EST to witness the fiery festivities. One thing’s for sure: this Valentine’s Day, “Fire Country” is bringing the heat.

“Fire Country” airs Fridays at 9:00 PM EST on CBS.
