A birthday celebration turns tragic in this week’s episode of A&E’s “The First 48.” “Armed to Party” takes viewers to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where detectives find themselves wading through a swamp of conflicting accounts and outright lies as they investigate the shooting death of a young man.
The victim, who came to the United States in pursuit of his dreams, becomes the center of a desperate search for truth and justice. But with every witness interview, the story becomes more tangled, raising questions about who was present, what their motives might have been, and why so many are reluctant to tell the whole story.
