Meanwhile, the show welcomes 37-year-old Ashleigh, a fan of Dungeons and Dragons, who is hoping to find someone who shares her passion. She is matched with 34-year-old Hailey, a Shakespeare scholar who has not been in a relationship with a woman since coming out. Their mutual interest in role-playing games could be the key to unlocking a potential romance.
Single mother-of-two Kate, 45, has a fondness for the Viking aesthetic and is paired with Jim, a tall, broad, and bearded man who seems to fit the Viking bill. Despite his rugged appearance, Jim confesses that he has a sensitive side and has experienced his fair share of emotional ups and downs. Kate is charmed by Jim but questions whether she is “cool” enough to capture his interest.
The episode also features 28-year-old Ashley, who has faced challenges in finding love since transitioning. She is hopeful that her date, Jack, a recruitment manager and stand-up comedian, will be able to offer the deeper connection she seeks.
