Paramount+ with Showtime has released first-look images from “The Agency,” its adaptation of the French series “Le Bureau des Legendes.”

The spy thriller, starring Michael Fassbender and Jeffrey Wright, is currently filming in London and boasts a notable supporting cast including Jodie Turner-Smith, Richard Gere, and Katherine Waterston.

Fassbender plays a CIA operative pulled back to London, where a rekindled romance threatens his mission and identity.

The series, co-produced by 101 Studios and executive produced by George Clooney and Grant Heslov (Smokehouse Pictures), will premiere on Paramount+ with Showtime before its linear broadcast.

A release date is yet to be announced. The pedigree of the source material and the talent involved certainly suggest potential.
