The series, filmed on location in the stunning Pembrokeshire region and south Wales, boasts a talented Welsh cast, including Rhian Blythe, Ioan Hefin, Aled Pugh, Mali Ann Rees, Will Thomas, Sharon Morgan, and Hannah Daniel. The screenplay is written by Cath Tregenna, a native of west Wales, who has also contributed to shows such as “Three Pines,” “Law & Order UK,” and “DCI Banks.”
“Cleddau” presents a blend of crime-solving and intricate character dynamics, all set against the beautiful and intriguing backdrop of Wales. The show is produced by Blacklight for S4C, with Banijay Rights handling distribution. An English-language version, titled “The One That Got Away,” will also be available for international audiences.
