Fix My Frankenhouse: Deadly Doubts (HGTV, Wednesday, April 23, 2025)

Fix My Frankenhouse Key Art

HGTV’s “Fix My Frankenhouse” returns this Wednesday with “Deadly Doubts,” an episode that tests Mike and Denese Butler’s design and construction skills like never before. This time, the couple isn’t just dealing with a “frankenhouse;” they’re dealing with a full-blown labyrinth. Their clients have a house with plenty of square footage, but the layout is more maze than home, with a strange flow that makes daily living a constant challenge.

Adding to the pressure is a client who’s understandably nervous about getting the work done before Thanksgiving. As if that weren’t enough, Denese throws a surprise into the mix by deciding to remodel their own design studio at the same time. Can she and Mike juggle two major projects simultaneously?

As always, Mike uses his construction expertise to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing space, while Denese focuses on incorporating the clients’ personal style with custom finishes. The Butlers have a knack for taking the charm of an older home and blending it with modern design sensibility, but this particular house looks like it will push them to their limits. Will they create a Thanksgiving miracle, or will this project gobble up more time than they anticipated?
