FOX’s trivia game show “The Floor” is back, and this season, knowledge isn’t the only weapon in the arsenal. “Strategic Showdown” sees the competition evolve from a simple test of trivia to a high-stakes game of strategy and cunning. Contestants still need to know their stuff, but they’ll also need to outsmart their rivals to claim the $250,000 grand prize.
The rules are simple but brutal. The winner of each trivia battle claims their opponent’s square on the giant LED floor, sending the loser packing. With challenge categories ranging from “TV Moms” and “Met Gala” to “Fictional Fathers” and “Directors,” there’s something for everyone – except, perhaps, for the losing contestants.
