A struggling former policeman (Edgar Ramírez) is forced to return to his home state of Florida to look for a Philly mobster’s girlfriend in “Florida Man,” a new limited series created by Donald Todd (known for his work on “Ugly Betty” and “This Is Us”), which delves into the mystery behind the famous “Florida man” meme.

However, what seems to be a simple job, quickly spirals into a journey of buried family secrets, and a futile attempt to do good in a place where so much is wrong. The limited series, which also features Abbey Lee, Anthony LaPaglia, Otmara Marrero, Lex Scott Davis, Emory Cohen, Clark Gregg, Isaiah Johnson, Paul Schneider, and Lauren Buglioli, will make its worldwide debut on April 13, exclusively on Netflix.

The creative team behind this limited series includes Donald Todd as creator, executive producer, and showrunner (credited for his work in “This Is Us”). Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan serve as executive producers for Aggregate, under their agreement with Netflix.

The show is seven episodes long and falls under the drama and limited series categories.
