Channel 4’s “Four In A Bed” heads to the Ribble Valley this Tuesday, stopping off at Jack’s Little Middop Farm, a spot where rustic charm meets… well, compost toilets. Yes, you read that right. This week’s contestants will experience a slightly different kind of B&B stay as they settle into Jack’s self-catering camping pods.
Upon arrival, guests are greeted with complimentary beers, a nice touch that suggests a warm welcome. But the rustic nature of the accommodation takes a turn when it comes to bathroom facilities. While getting back to nature has its appeal, the compost toilets might not win over every guest.
As the second visit of the week, Jack will be keen to impress his fellow B&B owners, who will be scrutinizing everything from the cleanliness of the pods to the, ahem, fragrance of the toilets.
