This week’s installments of Four in a Bed concludes with the always-anticipated Payment Day, and if the preceding days are anything to go by, it’s going to be a bumpy ride. After a week of questionable omelets, canine-related controversies, and general farm-related fracas, the B&B owners are finally about to face the music – and each other.
Let’s recap, shall we? We’ve had the “dog poo diatribe,” where one owner’s canine companion apparently committed an unspeakable offense on another’s meticulously manicured lawn. Then there was the “spicy omelet incident,” a culinary catastrophe that left at least one guest questioning their life choices. And let’s not forget the various “farm faux pas,” ranging from misplaced livestock to misjudged rustic decor. All of this simmering resentment is about to boil over.
Payment Day is where the pleasantries are finally dropped, and the claws come out. Each owner reveals how much they’re willing to pay for their stay, invariably less than the asking price, justifying their deductions with a litany of perceived shortcomings. Expect dramatic pronouncements, indignant gasps, and possibly even a tear or two. Who will emerge victorious? Which B&B will be crowned the champion of questionable hospitality?
